Creamy Cacao Almond Smoothie

Your new favourite way to start the day (or sneak in a healthy treat).

Smooth, chocolatey, and packed with goodness — this creamy cacao almond smoothie is everything we love in a breakfast or snack: nourishing, satisfying, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

Made with simple, wholesome ingredients, it’s naturally sweet, dairy-free, and rich in healthy fats, fibre and plant-based protein.

✨ What you’ll need:

  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter (made in-house at The Barn, of course!)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup oat milk
  • 1 tsp honey or a date (optional, for extra sweetness)

👉 Blend it all up until smooth and creamy. That’s it.

Enjoy it chilled, topped with cacao nibs, or pour it into a jar to take with you. Either way, it’s a seriously good way to fuel your day.
