Our Trout comes from a local farm near the Katse Dam in Lesotho. The trout grow for roughly a year before harvesting. It is blast frozen and then brought down to Cape Town to be processed. Trout is known for its reddish-orange flesh with little fat lines, unlike the better-known Norwegian Salmon.
